Central Link Light Rail in the Trip Planner

The Trip Planner now includes Central Link light rail [External link], Sound Transit's new service connecting downtown Seattle, Southeast Seattle, and SeaTac Airport.

Link is operated by Metro Transit for Sound Transit. A special Link Connector, operated for Sound Transit by Pierce Transit, connects Tukwila International Boulevard Station and the airport, meeting every Link trip. Later this year, the Link station at the airport will be completed and the entire trip will be possible on Link alone.

The Trip Planner already includes service provided by Community Transit, Everett Transit, Pierce Transit, Sound Transit, and the Washington State Ferries, Where these services can connect with Link, the Trip Planner shows those connections. We welcome the addition of Central Link Light Rail to our region's suite of public transit options.
